MAKWANPUR, July 12: Vehicular movement along the roads connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu has been obstructed by the rainfall-triggered landslides.
Sisneri-Phakhel road section between Hetauda and Kathmandu has been obstructed by landslide triggered by heavy rain, informed DSP Mukesh Kumar Singh who is the chief of District Police Office in Makwanpur.
According to him, Tribhuvan Rajpath has also been obstructed by the landslide that occurred in Bhimphedi rural municipality at 9 am on Friday morning. Likewise, Kanti Lokpath, another road stretch connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu, has been closed for four days due to the landslide caused by incessant heavy rain.

Bhimphedi-Fakhel road stretch between Hetauda and Kathmandu has also been obstructed due to landslide that occurred at 4 am on Friday morning.
Likewise, vehicular movement along many rural roads in different parts of Makwanpur district has been obstructed by flood and landslide.
A private car has been buried by the rainfall-triggered landslide occurred at Kalanki of Indrasarobar rural municipality.
The Kathmandu-bound car(Ba 2 Cha 9920) was buried by the landslide, confirmed DSP Singh. However, no human casualty has been reported.
