KATHMANDU, June 29: The Sisneri road connecting Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu has been blocked since morning due to landslides.
According to Pratima Karki, inspector at the Area Police Office, Bhimphedi, the road was blocked due to landslides that occurred last night at Ram Chandra Bhanjyang of Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3.

It is currently raining in the area, which has made removing the landslide debris difficult. She said that the debris will be removed and vehicles will be able to operate when the rain stops. The Kulekhani-Fakhel road section and the Tribhuvan Highway are in operation.
Similarly, the Kanti Lokpath connecting Hetauda to Kathmandu has also been blocked due to landslides. According to the Area Police Office, Ilal, landslides in Bhattedanda Garokhola in Lalitpur have blocked the road there.
