Two returning home from India for Bhai Tika killed in car accident, three other injured

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Two individuals lost their lives, and three others were injured in a car accident while returning from India to Nepal to celebrate Bhai Tika.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Two individuals lost their lives, and three others were injured in a car accident while returning from India to Nepal to celebrate Bhai Tika.


The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Belbase from Bardahawa, Banganga Municipality-9 in Kapilvastu, and Anil Sapkota from Ward-6 of Gaindakot Municipality. Indian security officials reported that the group was returning from Punjab, India via the Badni border.

Their car collided with a bus in Balrampur, India. According to Balrampur police, Sharda, the wife of Dinesh Belbase, along with Tek Bahadur and his wife Dhankala, were injured in the accident. Police have transported the injured to a hospital for treatment.
