KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Two people have been found dead at different places in the Kathmandu Valley.
Jamuna Rokka Mijar, 49, of Bansbari in Dakshinkali Municipality-4, Kathmandu was found dead in her rented apartment on Friday, according to Nepal Police Headquarters. Similarly, Govinda Tamang, 35, of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-22 was found dead in the yard of Hem Bahadur Tamang's house at Chapagaun, Godavari Municipality-10. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
Likewise, Sagar Tamang, 37, of Bensigaun in Gokarneshwor Municipality-8 of Kathmandu and six others were arrested last night while playing kauda (gambling using cowrie shells). The police deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bauddha, after getting the information, arrested him along with cowrie shells and Rs 363,000.
