Two killed in accident

DHANGADHI: Two people were killed and four others injured when a bus met with accident in Baliya VDC-4 of Kailali district on Saturday morning. Tulasa Adhikari, 40, of Baliya VDC-9, and Prakash Khadka, 22, of Siuni VDC-6, died when a bus (Na. 4 Kha 648) skidded off the road while trying to overtake another bus.



Both breathed their last on the spot. Police inspector Hem Shahi said the accident occurred as the driver lost control over the over-speeding bus while overtaking another bus. Manoj Chaudhary of Dang, Akkal Saud of Bardiya, Ane Nepali and Nabaraj Bhandari of Surkhet were injured in the accident. While Chaudhary has been referred to Nepalgunj hospital, others are undergoing treatment at Lamki.
