Two killed as bullet tank hits motorcycle

MAKWANPUR, June 12: Two people were killed on Saturday evening when a gas bullet tank hit them in Hetauda.


Two persons riding on a motorcycle died on the spot when a gas bullet with an Indian number plate hit them at Pashupatinagar of Hetauda-9 on the East-West Highway at around 8:15 PM.

The bullet tank vehicle (NL 01 L 2971) had collided with the motorcycle (Na 61 Pa 4597). The deceased have been identified as Ishwar Tamang, 55, and Amina Tamang, 26, of Hetauda-9.


The deceased are said to be father and daughter. The driver of the bullet tank vehicle has been taken under control by the police. Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Karki, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makwanpur, said that the bullet tank hit a car in Hetauda-9. He said that the incident was being investigated.
