PALPA, Oct 4: Two persons were hurt in a landslide near Siddhabana of Tansen-Butwal road section along the Siddhartha Highway this morning. The landslide also caused the fall of a boulder.
Identities of the injured are yet to be ascertained. Following the incident, the two were rushed to the Lumbini Zonal Hospital for treatment, police said. They were traveling on a motorcycle (Lu 17 Pa 1873) at the time when the incident happened. The landslide has further damaged the road which was hit by frequent landslides of late. The fresh landslide has disrupted the route, police said. Following this, plan for repairing the roadway affected by frequent mudslides has been stalled. RSS
