KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Police have arrested two people with 117 ampules of narcotics in the capital on Friday.
A police squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector, Nagdhunga arrested Rohan Khadka, 27, of Suryabinayak Municipality-10, and Ranjan Thapa, 18, of Sindhupalchowk in possession of diazepam, Phenergan and Nurofen during a security check this morning.
The arrested were coming to Kathmandu from Biratnagar by a vehicle, Na 7 Kha 4741, at 6 am today.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the arrested into custody.
Earlier, Police had arrested four people including three Indian nationals with 40 kilograms of marijuana from Basamadi area on Tuesday.
