KATHMANDU, March 30: Nepal Police's Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested a 66-year-old American national on charge of paedophilia, on Tuesday. A team of CIB arrested Michael Norman Taylor on the charge of sexually abusing three minors in Pokhara, the CIB stated in a press release on Tuesday.

The US national was apprehended from local Bishnu homestay in Pokhara acting on a complaint filed by parents of the three minors.

The CIB team handed over the arrestee to the District Police Office (DPO), Kaski.

According to CIB, the DPO, Kaski will launch probe against the US national. The US national hails from California.
