SIMKOT (HUMLA), Oct 5: Two persons died on the spot in a road accident at Tajkot Rural Municipality-4 in Humla district on Saturday afternoon.


According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabindra Khanal at the District Police Office, Humla, the deceased have been identified as Bishnu Pariyar, 49, of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-20 and Abhishek Budha, around six years old, from Changkheli Rural Municipality-6 in Humla.

The accident occurred when a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2343) heading towards Nepalgunj from Humla veered off the road and fell about 300 meters at Tirthasaina of Tanjakot Rural Municipality.


Police have said that Pariyar was heading home from Simkot while Budha was on his way to his maternal uncle’s house with Pariyar.
