NAWALPARASI, April 17: Two persons died in separate road accidents took place in Nawalparashi district last night. 

An 18-year youth succumbed to injuries after a bus (Na 2 Kha 3836) in which he was the assistant-driver was hit by a van (Ga 2 Cha 26 54) at Badera, Sunwal Municipality-12 in the district yesterday night. 

The deceased, identified as Mahendra Budha of Pipara in Surkhet district, died in course of treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital in Butwal, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparashi. 

Meanwhile, a cyclist died when a motorcycle (Na 2 Pa 4251) coming to the East from the West knocked down him at Harkapur along the East West Highway last night. 

The victim is 52-year-old Rabi Lal Poudel of Harkapur. Seriously injured in the incident, Poudel breathed his last during the treatment at Old Medical College in Bharatpur, Chitwan this morning, police said. 
Police have impounded both vehicles involved in hitting both persons arrested their drivers for further investigations into the cases. RSS
