Two killed in separate accidents

LAHAN, March 2: A motorcycle rider died after being hit by a passenger bus along the East-West highway in Golbazaar municipality-4 of Siraha last night.

Surendra Mahato, 37, of Devipur-9 in Siraha died in the incident when the motorcycle (Sa.5Pa. 7234) was hit by the bus (Na.4Kha.1430) en route to the east from west. Mahato died while undergoing treatment at the Ram Prasad Uma Memorial hospital in Lahan, according to the Area Police Office in Gol bazaar.

Meanwhile, a man died in an incident of a fire that took place in Majhuwa tole of Mirchaiya municipality-8, Siraha. Pradip Raya, 39, who was burnt to death after the house he was in caught fire all of a sudden, the Area Police Office in Mirchaiya said. Police are investigating both the incidents. RSS
