BUTWAL, June 27: Two persons died and another sustained injuries when a pickup van collided with a parked truck in Butwal on Friday night.

The deceased have been identified as Roshan Gurung from Siyari-6, Amuwa and Sushil Kunwar from Butwal-11, Kalikanagar. Gurung died on the spot while Kunwar breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Butwal-based Lumbini Provincial Hospital.
The van (Ba 14 Cha 6879) struck against the truck (Na 6 Kha 624) which was parked alongside the road at Ramnagar along the East-West Highway.
