According to Pakali Area Police Office, the boy was hit by the bus when he was crossing the road.
Similarly, Janak Dhakal, a resident of Barahchhetra VDC in Sunsari district, died when his motorcycle (Ko. 4 Pa 489) was hit by a truck (Na. 2 Kha 7408). Police inspector Ram Dhakal told Republica that Janak died while being rushed to Biratnagar for treatment.
