Two die in Butwal accident

BUTWAL, July 8: Two people died after the bus they were traveling in hit a parked truck on the Mahendra highway at Devdaha-8 in Rupandehi district on Tuesday evening.



Twelve passengers also sustained injuries in the accident.



According to the West Region Traffic Police Office, Butwal, the deceased are 35-year-old Hasta Bahadur Chhetri and 52-year-old Dil Kumari Bhandari of Shankar Nagar -5, Rupandehi district.



They died whole undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital. The injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
