JAJARKOT, Oct 20: Two persons died when a passenger bus they were traveling in met with an accident here today. Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
The bus ( Me 1 Kha 722) operated by the Kankrebihar Transport Committee skidded off the road and plunged into the Bheri as it was heading towards Surkhet from Rimna of Bheri Municipality-1, Jajarkot.
Seven dead in Palpa bus accident
The bus skidded off the road near the Balikhola (stream) at Simta Rural Municipality and fell some 300 meters down into the Bheri River, according to an eyewitness Pashupati Shahi. Twelve people were injured in the accident.
A total of 25 passengers were on board at the time of the accident and the police are further investigating into the mishap, the District Police Office, Jajarkot said. RSS
