Two corona suspected patients die in Bir Hospital

KATHMANDU, March 30: Two suspected coronavirus patients died in course of treatment in Bir Hospital, Kathmandu.


A 40-year old man died on Sunday while another young man of 35 breathed his last at hospital’s emergency ward on Monday afternoon.

The man who died on Sunday was referred to Bir by Armed Police Force Hospital as he had developed the symptoms of respiration problems and high fever. He was from Naikap, Kathmandu.


Another deceased man also had similar symptoms. He breathed his last immediately after he was rushed to hospital. He had returned from India fourteen days ago.


Hospital has sent samples of both the patients to Teku based National Public Health Laboratory for COVID-19 test.
