MORANG, Nov 27: Police have arrested two people from Dhankuta and Katahari while they were bringing drugs from Dhat No. 1 of Rani Naka in Biratnagar near Nepal-India border area.
One of the arrested is Sujit Poudel, 30, of Katahari Rural Municipality-1 of Morang. SP Navin Raj Rai, spokesperson at the Provincial Police Office said that drugs were found while he was coming from Jogbani, India at around 2 PM on Friday.

According to SP Rai, eight ampoules of Lupijesic, eight ampoules of Diazepam, eight ampoules of Avil, eight ampoules of Phenergan and one bottle of Dilex DC were recovered from Poudel. Police said that further investigation has been started by keeping Poudel at the Area Police Office, Rani.
Similarly, Bivek Tamang, 23, of Dhankuta Municipality-1 was arrested on Thursday evening while fetching drugs from Jogbani.
According to SP Rai, a team from the Drug Control Bureau, Biratnagar, arrested him while he was carrying nine ampoules of Lupijesic, nine ampoules of Diazepam, nine ampoules of Avil and nine ampoules of Phenargon from Jogbani
