Two arrested on charge of beating a man to death

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Police have arrested two individuals on the charge of beating a man to death at Garuda Municipality in Rautahat district.

The arrested have been identified as Bikash Paswan, 19, and Binda Paswan, 55, residents of Brindaban Municipality-7.

According to police, they have been arrested on the charge of killing 50-year-old Amiri Paswan. “The arrested had mercilessly beaten Paswan, who was critically injured and died while undergoing treatment at Garuda City Hospital,” said police, adding that the arrested were drunk when the incident happened.

The investigation into the case is still underway, said police.
