According to DSP Jaiswar, the Mahottari District Court has extended the judicial custody by four days for further investigation of the two arrested persons in the murder case.
According to the deceased’s family, the ward chair had a meeting with his friends in Bardibas on the night of August 25. Although he reportedly left Bardibas for home, he was found dead the next morning. The motorcycle he was riding was found lying on the road and his body was found on the side of the road.
Yadav’s family members have claimed that someone murdered him rather than him meeting ill-fate in a motorcycle accident. He was elected as the ward chair from the Maoist Center in the last local elections.
