Tuladhar provided $ 1,000 for treatment<br/>Sports academy to commemorate leader

KATHMANDU, Oct 29: US Nepal Sports and Culture Development Inc provided a cash support of US $ 1,000 on Thursday for treatment of Manju Tuladhar, former national taekwondo player suffering from kidney problem. Tuladhar is undergoing dialysis of Kidneys regularly as both of her kidneys are dysfunctional. [break]







Former No 1 snooker player Chakra Kumar Lama handed her the cash on behalf of Development Inc, a social organization of Nepali nationals residing in the US.



Tuladhar is the silver winner of the 8th South Asian Games (1999) and bronze winner of Asian Taekwondo Championship (1988).





Sports academy to commemorate leader



KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Madan Bhandari Foundation has announced to establish Sports Academy to commemorate the late leader.



The Madan Bhandari Sports Academy aims to serve Nepali sports fraternity. The academy, headed by Ramesh Silwal and patronized by CPN-UML leader KP Oli, has 55 members.



The academy organized a press conference and announced its initial programs on Thursday. The academy declared that it will organize Kathmandu Peace Marathon on January 1.
