The association had locked out the university five days ago protesting the TU’s plan to slash accumulative home leave facility by 30 days from the current 180 days and for not taking the TU executive council’s decision to promote by one level all employees retiring under voluntary or compulsory retirement scheme to the TU Assembly for approval.
Association president Bhoj Kumar Basnet said the lockout was carried after the administration paid no heed to its demand.
He said the lockout was lifter after the administration promised to implement the decisions by seeking approval from the next TU Assembly.
