KATHMANDU, Aug 9: Dharmodaya Sabha and other Buddhist organizations have protested against the ongoing lockout and picketing carried out by some groups at the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT), terming them as unbecoming.

The Sabha, through a press release, expressed its disagreement to some of the demands put forth by some groups including the locals in the Lumbini town area.  "Although the demands put before the LDT like giving the responsibility of LDT to the locals are largely positive, the inclusion of the topic of giving positions to those meeting the criteria in writing in the letter of demand has raised doubts," reads the press release.
