KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Two pedestrians were killed and another injured after a truck hit them at Lolang height in Nepaltar on Friday morning.
Assistant Inspector of Traffic Police J Jung Karki told Republica Online that Til Kumari Tiwari, 65, and her grandson Arjit Tiwari, 6, were crushed to death by the truck (Na 6 Kha 7826) at around 10:15 am when they were crossing the road.
Seriously injured Sabitri Pudasaini has been taken to Green City Hospital for further treatment. The truck driver is at large following the incident.
Locals have been protesting in the area demanding probe into the incident.
