Tribal Rain’s ‘Sahara’ in memory of late Rahul Rai

Tribal Rain, an acoustic experimental band from Sikkim, India released the music video ‘Sahara’ via their official YouTube channel on Friday.


The band released the music video in the memory of the late frontman, Rahul Rai. The vocalist was found dead on February 13, 2018, in an apparent suicide.

Prajwal Bhattarai and Barkha Mukhiya collaboratively directed the music video that was produced by Fuzz Factory Productions. The video explains the friendship and separation between two kids, who are portrayed by Aagaman KC and Acharan KC. It has also used a self-made toy boat as a prop.


Formed in 2013, Tribal Rain comprised of late Rahul Rai on vocals/guitars, Kenneth Adhikari on keyboard, Prawes Lama on guitars and Sushant Ghatani on cajon. The band released ‘Roka Yo Samay’ album in 2017.
