Tri-nation women’s international tournament: Nepal set to take on Iran today

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Nepal is all set to face Iran today in the Tri-Nation Women’s International Football Tournament.

The match kicks off at 6:15 PM Nepali time at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, India. This will be the first clash between Nepal and Iran in six years. In their last encounter in 2019, Nepal had triumphed 3–0.


So far in the tournament, Iran has impressed with a 2–0 victory over host India. Today’s match marks Nepal’s debut in this edition, and the team is stepping onto the field determined to secure a win.
