MYAGDI, June 28: Normal life in Dhaulagiri zone has remained crippled due to an indefinite banda at the call of Association of Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs (AoNNTE).

Vehicular movement in Myagid, Baglung, Parbat and Mustang districts has come to grinding halt. Transport entrepreneurs have announced the banda demanding security.

Tourists and pilgrims visiting Mustang have been stranded due to the shutdown.

AoNNTE Dhaulagiri coordinator Surat KC said the strike has been enforced to protest rampant cases of donation terror, bandas aftermath of road accidents and vandalism of public vehicles and to pressurize the concerned bodies as to ensure security of transport workers.
