Transportation in Jajarkot brought to a grinding halt after patient dies

JAJARKOT, Aug 7: Jajarkot locals have halted the transportation demanding compensation for the victim’s family after a patient died in the course of treatment at Chaurjhari Hospital.

JAJARKOT, Aug 7: Jajarkot locals have halted the transportation demanding compensation for the victim’s family after a patient died in the course of treatment at Chaurjhari Hospital.


The agitators shot the transportation in Jajarkot indefinitely saying that Yashodha Malla, a patient of Bheri Municipality-13 died due to negligence of the medical persons.

According to victim’s family sources, Yasoda had been hospitalized after being diagnosed with a 5 mm stone. Yasodha, who was fine until she was hospitalized on August 2, passed away after three days.


Her family members claim that she died after she was administered wrong vaccine by nurses.


Chief District Officer of Rukum district Shambhu Regmi said he is taking the initiative in providing due compensation to the victim’s family.
