Traffic resumes on Narayangadh, Muglin and Kathmandu routes

The District Police Office, Chitwan, issued a notice on Sunday confirming that the movement of all types of vehicles on the affected routes has returned to normal.

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Traffic on routes connecting Narayangadh with Pokhara, Muglin and Kathmandu has fully resumed after being halted following reports of renewed flooding and landslides in Rasuwa.

The District Police Office, Chitwan, issued a notice on Sunday confirming that the movement of all types of vehicles on the affected routes has returned to normal.


Police, however, warned that the risk of floods, landslides and other natural disasters remains and urged the public to avoid staying in vulnerable areas.


People have also been asked to follow instructions issued by the relevant authorities and make their own safety and that of their families the top priority.
