Two-way traffic resumes on Narayangadh-Muglin road

CHITWAN, Aug 4: Traffic for two ways has resumed along the Narayangadh-Muglin road after around 11 hours following clearance of landslides that obstructed the road at Jalbire of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-6 and Ghaumaune in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29.

CHITWAN, Aug 4: Traffic for two ways has resumed along the Narayangadh-Muglin road after around 11 hours following clearance of landslides that obstructed the road at Jalbire of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-6 and Ghaumaune in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29. 


The one way traffic was permitted at 10:30 am today, said the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Meanwhile, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management Raghubir Mahaseth on Saturday inspected the newly-repaired Muglin-Narayangadh road. 


On the occasion, the minister directed officials of the Road Department to take prompt action in launching rescue operation and clearing the road in case of a landslide, which is an recurring phenomena in the area. RSS
