KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) has sought Nepali Congress’s support for its agitation announced last week and to exert pressure on the government to fulfill the party’s 13-point demands. “We sought support of the main opposition leaders’ to our demands and they [NC leaders] were positive,” said TMDP leader Hridayesh Tripathi. The TMDP has announced the protests demanding that the government fulfill its 13-point demands including implementation of 8-point agreement signed by the government and Joint Madhesi Front in February last year.
