Peel ginger with a spoon- Instead of using a peeler to remove the skin of ginger, use a spoon. Spoon will help you reach inside the corners and scrape off skin in the bumpy parts more easily. You will be making a lot less mess too.

Peeling tomato easily- Slice off a small part at the top and make an ‘X’ sign at the bottom of the tomato before placing it in water. The ‘X’ sign will guide you and make the peeling work easier.
