TIA resumes service after bomb threat turns out to be hoax

KATHMANDU, March 27: The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has resumed service on Sunday evening after a bomb threat in an aircraft of Jet Airways that landed in Kathmandu from New Delhi turned out be a hoax.

An aircraft of Qatar Airways from Doha was first to land after the airport resumed.

All the domestic and international flights from the country’s only international airport were halted due to the bomb scare.
