GHORAHI, March 24: Three members of the same family have died due to electrocution.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Bahadur Malla said that 55-year-old Dilsara KC of Rapti Rural Municipality-3 Ghantdev Chowk and her husband Gorakh Bahadur KC, 60, and four-year-old grandson Krishna KC were among the deceased.
17 injured in Salyan jeep accident, driver absconding
According to the police, Dilsara and Krishna died on the spot when they accidentally touched the high-voltage electric wire lying on the ground after it was snapped on Saturday afternoon. Seriously injured 60-year-old Gorakh Bahadur died while undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal.
According to police, the wire of the Nepal Electricity Authority(NEA)'s high tension line suddenly snapped and fell in the yard of the house and they got electrocuted.
