A Health Ministry source said the patients to have been confirmed are two males aged 31 and 22 years, who had returned from Dubai and another male, 45, who came home from England.
“The duo returning from Dubai is receiving treatment at the swine flu treatment center set up at Teku Hospital, while the one coming from England is on self-quarantine and receiving treatment at home,” said deputy coordinator of the Avian Influenza Control Project Dr Jitendra Man Shrestha.
Dr Shrestha said there is no need to panic in light of the recent swine flu deaths in India as all three fresh cases are mild. Only one of the 20 confirmed cases in Nepal has been found to be severe and the patient suffering from the severe case has also fully recovered.
