KATHMANDU, April 28: Three lawmakers and an employee of the Gandaki Province have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Sapana Subedi, director of the Public Health Laboratory of Gandaki Province, three provincial lawmakers and an employee have tested positive for COVID-19.
Trace and test
The swab samples of all the lawmakers and employees were collected for testing earlier on Tuesday as the ruling CPN-UML obstructed the assembly meeting demanding PCR tests of the lawmakers.
The ruling side’s obstruction is said to be a time-buy technique as a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung is likely to be endorsed through a majority of votes in the provincial assembly.
