Three injured in truck-van collision

LAHAN, Dec 29: Three persons were severely injured in an accident at Balan bridge near Lahan on Tuesday evening. The accident occurred when a truck (Na 1 Kha 4516) heading east collided head on with a Maruti van (Ko 1 Cha 3300), police said.



Those injured in the accident are Chakraman Thapa, van driver Krishna Sah of Shambhunath, Saptari and Rama Gupta. Sah and Gupta are in critical condition and have been sent to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment, police said.
