CHITWAN, Jan 31: A collision between two trucks at Dorechowk – 7 along the Prithvi Highway this morning has left three persons injured.
A truck (Na 6 Kha 8127) en route to Narayangadh from Kathmandu collided with a truck (Na 5 Kha 8662) coming from the opposite direction at 3:30 am, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.
In the accident, Pashupati Thapa, 40, of Bhaise VDC – 2, Makawanpur, who was driving the bus heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj, was seriously injured. Bimal Ale Magar, 22, who was Thapa's assistant driver and Raju Lama, 28, of Dolakha, who was driving the other truck, were also injured.
They were rushed to Kathmandu for treatment. The police have reopened the road that remained blocked following the truck collision. The incident site is located 10 km north-east towards Kathmandu from Muglin. RSS
