Three injured in car-motorcycle collision in Chitwan

Three people were injured after a car collided with two motorcycles in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1, Bhateri jungle area, along the Narayanghat–Muglin road section on Monday.

CHITWAN, Oct 6: Three people were injured after a car collided with two motorcycles in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1, Bhateri jungle area, along the Narayanghat–Muglin road section on Monday.



According to police, a car (Ba Pra 01-033 Ch 2627) traveling from Narayanghat toward Muglin struck two motorcycles (Ga 23 Pa 3092 and Ba Pra 06-001 Pa 9391). The injured have been identified as 36-year-old Raju Acharya of Pokhara Metropolitan City-11, Kaski; 56-year-old Khadga Prasad Paudel of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-1, Gorkha; and his 45-year-old wife, Rekha Kumari Paudel.

All three are receiving treatment at New Medical College, Bharatpur, police confirmed.


The driver of the car, 37-year-old Ramnarayan Yadav of Mithila Bihari Municipality-10, Dhanusha, has been taken into custody for investigation, said DSP Rabindra Khanal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Chitwan.
