KANCHANPUR, July 22: Police arrested three Indian nationals on Thursday evening with 78.37 grams of the contraband brown sugar from the Nepal-India border at Amarbasti, Purnawas Municipality-11.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shah of the District Police Office, the RIT team deployed from the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office in Dhangadhi and the police team deployed from the Parasan Police Station arrested Sumit Gupta, 28, Labi Gupta, 24, and Bobby Mahendru, 27, of Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, with the narcotic drug.

He said that when the three people who were coming to Nepal through the border were checked after suspicion, the illegal drug which was hidden inside a white plastic bag was recovered from them. DSP Shah said that 24.47 grams of the drug was seized from Sumit, 25.640 grams from Labi and 28.260 grams from Bobby.
It is said that INR 15,000 was recovered from the three persons along with the drug. They are being investigated. The police suspect that they may be drug dealers.
