Three, including UN driver, dead in Sunsari road accident

ITAHARI, Aug 7: Three persons, including a UN driver, have died in a road accident along the East-West Highway, in Inaruwa-3, Sankhuwagachhi of Sunsari on Tuesday.



A tripper (Na 4 Kha 134) hit a motorcycle (Ba 13 Pa 5148), killing its riders Bijaya Kumar Sharma of Biratnagar-3 and Buddha Maljain, an Indian national currently residing in Inaruwa. [break]



The tripper which lost control after colliding with the bike then hit a UN Prado (66-8-1709) and killed the driver Rajesh Thapa, who hails from Kathmandu.



The injured succumbed to their injuries while being rushed to a hospital in Inaruwa.



The tripper driver is absconding following the incident.
