KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Police have arrested three people on the charge of robbery in the capital.
Acting on a tip-off, a 10-police squad led by Elija Giri, chief of Metropolitan Police Sector, Koteshwar, caught three men with a Chinese pistol, a round of bullets and a khukuri while they were breaking into Maya Shrestha’s house based in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 on Saturday evening.
The arrested are Arjun Prasad Adhikari, 33, of Dhading district, currently staying at Kalanki, Kathmandu, Kedhar Prasad Adhikari, 25, of Dhading and Anjan Upreti, 30, of Bhumju rural municipality-8, Kavre, currently staying at Chabahil, Kathmandu.
The arrested were found involved in various criminal activities in the past too, said the preliminary investigation of the police.
