Thirty-four students disqualified for SEE due to attendance issue

PALPA, March 15: Thirty-four students in Palpa have been ineligible to sit for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) scheduled to be held from coming March 24. 


Lack of 75 percent school attendance and other some reasons barred them from attending the exam, the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Palpa, said. A total of 5,038 regular students - 2,561 girls and 2,375 boys - will be appearing in the exam from the district while thirty-five students are from the supplementary grade improvement category.

They represent 132 schools and of them, 111 community, 20 institutional and one open. According to Unit information officer Mahendra Subedi, 26 centers have been fixed to conduct the test.
