KATHMANDU, April 19: National Sports Association, Nepal and Sports For All Club, Nepal are set to hold the Third Nepal Cup Invitational Football Tournament in Fikkal, Ilam from April 30 to May 7.

Organizing a press meet in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the hosts informed that altogether 10 football teams from Nepal and India will take part in the tournament. Morang XI, Tribeni Youth Club, Kakarvitta Football Training Center, APF Eastern Football Team, Taplejung XI, Makawanpur XI and Ilam XI are the domestic clubs, while Kanchanjunga FC Siliguri, Darjeeling XI and Share Football Club, Kalimpong, are the teams from India. The last two editions of the tournament were held in Janakpur and Ilam, respectively.
Kathmandu District Lawn Tennis Association is set to organize the Citizens Bank Open Lawn Tennis Tournament at the court of National Sports Council, Tripureshwar, from April 30. Altogether 150 players will take part in the tournament that will feature singles, doubles, mix-doubles events for men and women and various age groups. Winners and runners-up in singles event will get Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 in both sections, while losers of the semifinals will get Rs 5,000 each. In doubles and mix-doubles events, winners will get Rs 15,000 each.
