POKHARA, Jan 5: The Hotel and Restaurant Association Lekhnath is organizing the third edition of the Begnas Fish Festival from Falgun 24 at Mandare Park at Begnas Lake at Lekhnath Municipality in Pokhara.
Fish lovers will be able to relish as many as fish delicacies prepared from some 23 types of fishes found in Dipang Lake, Rupa Lake and Begnas Lake during the five-day event, according to Association's President Damodar Bhakta Thapa.
When the bully is the boss
The stalls in the Fair will put on display a wide variety of live fishes available in the local lakes, informed President Thapa.
He added that the fair, aimed at promoting internal and external tourism of the place of Lake City fame, will promote the local produces as fish, honey, coffee and herbal medicines.
The Fair will also feature hive of recreational activities including pop concert, folk song competition and race, the organizers said. RSS
