The love for you was pure

I still think of you

I keep wondering, how are you?

The heart still beats for you

Though we do not talk like when we knew.

Do I cross your mind like you cross mine?

Does your heart beats faster like mine when I think of you most of the time?

The feelings are still fresh but inside me

I wonder why is it so hard to let go of those camaraderie.

Though our destination was relationship

Mine was love and yours was friendship

The different roads had similar objectives 

But the goals to reach there never happened despite many positives.

Still the roads are same no-matter how hard it is, we are lame

Lame of our own set rules that comes to tame 

The love for you was pure and I know your friendship to me 

But it lost its connections and here I am writing this poetry.
