Thapa wins flat

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Om Thapa, a resident of Ram Bazaar in Pokhara, has won the first bumper prize in the lucky draw under the Nagarik-Republica Sanga Sabai Hunchhan Danga scheme conducted by the Nepal Republic Media on Tuesday.



Thapa won a two-bedroom flat at Bagmati Apartment near Baneshwar. [break]



Similarly, the second bumper prize -- a Perodua Viva car manufactured by the Malaysian Perodua Company -- went to a Kupandole-based organization called Infinity, while Santosh Uprety of Baneshwar, Dhruba Sharma of Syuchatar, and Chandra Bhakta Shrestha of Bhaktapur each bagged a Bravia LCD TV as the third prize.



Likewise, Rohit Timilsina of Mahadevtar, Namrata Medical of Kamal Pokhari, Prestige Nepal of Lazimpat, Prabhu Thakur of Imadol, and Shanta Shrestha of Lazimpat each bagged a Hasee laptop as the fourth prize.



Representatives from Bagmati Apartment; Nemlink International, the authorized dealer of Perodua for Nepal; Nepa Hima Trade Link, the authorized dealer of Sony and Hasee in Nepal, and General Secretary of Consumer Rights Protection Forum Jyoti Baniya had made the lucky draws.
