KATHMANDU, June 19: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the tendency to abhor the achievements gained through the sacrifices and dedication of the Nepali people is found within the bureaucracy also.

Chairman Dahal urged the government employees themselves to make positive intervention against the tendency of preventing effective implementation of the works carried out in favor of people by the political leadership and of not internalizing its spirit.

Chairman Dahal made the remarks while addressing the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the National Employees Federation of Nepal in Kathmandu on Sunday. He stressed on the need of conducting a campaign within the bureaucracy itself to dissuade such a tendency in it and to strongly protest it.

Stating that the concerted efforts and commitment of all was necessary in the struggle to institutionalize the changes, he expressed happiness over the fact that an environment was being built for the former Maoists who were in separate camps for several reasons in the past to come to a single place.

Chairman Dahal expressed confidence that their campaign will gradually become successful as the same environment has also been created within the employees organization as well.

Noting that he has received information that the Federal Civil Service Bill is being obstructed at the highest level of the employees, he urged the employees to exert pressure against such tendency and make the organization dynamic.

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal, said that the party has been effortful in resolving the problem seen in the employees' administration. Bhusal is also the 'faction in-charge' of the Federation.
