Telephone disrupted in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, June 1: At least 250 telephone lines interrupted for two days after the theft of telephone cable in Balkot and Dadhikot Chittapol area of Bhaktapur.



Nepal Telecom, Gatthaghar branch said it is difficult to resume the service soon in the area due to paucity of telephone cable in the branch and ever-increasing wire theft.



Branch Manager Suresh Pradhan assured to resume the service as soon as possible stressing on the participation of police and locals to help stop the increasing theft of telephone cable.
