KATHMANDU, March 19: A technical glitch has been detected in a Shree Airlines aircraft that flew from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi. Flight ANH 227, which landed in Dhangadhi on Monday evening, was unable to take off on Tuesday due to an issue with its front wheel, according to the airport authorities.

Gajendra Bahadur Shahi, the Dhangadhi head for Shree Airlines, confirmed the flight's suspension, attributing the delay to a malfunction in the aircraft's front wheel mechanism. "The technical problem with the plane's wheel was discovered after all passengers had disembarked on Monday evening. Consequently, the aircraft is currently grounded," Shahi said. He added that a technical team from Kathmandu is en route to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Ganesh Bahadur Singh, the chief of the Dhangadhi airport office, reassured that the issue with Shree Airlines' aircraft was not significant but emphasized that flight clearance would only be granted following a thorough technical inspection. "Technical work is mandatory for flight permission, even though the problem appears to be a minor one," Singh said.
